Laura T. Cook, BS, MBA
Fitness Coach
Hi, I’m Laura!
Right around the time when Young MC was urging us to “Bust a Move!”, I was bitten by the fitness bug and became an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified instructor in 1993. Since then, I have taught, and am certified in, just about every format of fitness you can imagine from Aqua to Zumba and everything in-between. My biggest fitness accomplishment includes qualifying for and running the Boston Marathon, in my hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
At We Wise Well, I will coach you through safe, effective, and fun workouts that focus on strength, agility, and balance. I’m a believer in daily movement and exploring fitness as a celebration of what your body is capable of.
When I’m not teaching fitness classes, I am also a career Chef, a mother to two teenage daughters, and a certified Sports Nutrition Consultant. I own a small local business that I am passionate about: Golden Ghee, LLC. You can follow the adventures of “Whee Ghee” on Facebook and IG. www.goldenghee.biz
I’m thrilled to be part of the We Wise Well Team. The teaching style I bring to class is to work hard, work efficiently, make a connection, and leave with a smile. My mantras are: “The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary” – Vidal Sassoon, and “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken” – Oscar Wilde.
I’m looking forward to having you and your smiling face in my class!
